Why is the Matthews Pacific Tiger Fund closing?
The Matthews Pacific Tiger Fund has historically invested in companies with a broad range of capitalization, including large, mid and small cap companies in the portfolio. After a sizeable increase in assets over the last year, we believe it is appropriate to significantly limit flows of new assets into the Fund.

When is the Matthews Pacific Tiger Fund closing?
Starting June 8, 2006 the Matthews Pacific Tiger Fund will close to most new investors.
