Michelin Tweel

Could this be the future of the wheel? The tweel uses flexible spokes to replace the need for air pressure. The technology will first be applied in Dean Kamen's iBOT and Centaur. Michelin plans to refine the tweel and eventually apply it to passenger vehicles. The idea certainly appeals to me - no more flat tires, plus it just plain looks cool.
