The Darkness
Wow, what a great band. Its nice to be surprised. Wish I'd known about them sooner. That singer's vocal range is amazing. They won the Mercury prize in 2003.
Formed in 2000, The Darkness are Suffolk brothers Justin and Dan Hawkins along with Frankie Poullain and Ed Graham. The band's debut album, 'Permission to Land', was released in July 2003 on the Atlantic label and reached number 2 in the UK charts. The album features the singles 'Growing On Me' and 'Get Your Hands Off My Woman'.
