Kirk Sand builds amplified nylon string guitars. He has made guitars for the likes of Chet Atkins, Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi), Kevin Eubanks (The Tonight Show)... Gibson's Chet Atkins model is based on the guitar he built for Chet.
