Google Video beta: TV search

Google has launched a video search service. Unlike yahoo's recently launched video search, which lists direct links to video clips on the net, google's site acts as an index of tv program content. For a show it provides several still images as well as segments of close-captioned text that is broadcast with tv programs. This close-captioned text is what the engine searches in order to deliver results.
